Kibri Hutchison Everett is a seasoned environmental scientist whose agriculturally adjacent career began over twenty years ago as a student working in the Soil Science department at NC State University. Since then, she has worked in state government and the non-profit sector on farming-related projects and has owned food system businesses that involved sourcing products from historically underserved farmers. She channels her passion for economic and environmental justice to empower historically marginalized communities. Through her organization, she focuses on providing essential knowledge and resources to foster positive change.
For SERVE, Ms. Everett provides administrative, technical, and project monitoring and evaluation support. This involves designing and developing training materials and outreach activities, collecting data, and performing ongoing project monitoring, tracking, and evaluation to ensure the project is working towards the goals of the programmatic mission areas.
